Step back to a kinder, gentler time when hoop-skirted ladies & suited
gentlemen played lawn tennis in the green grass, under sheltering Cedars
that line the property. Imagine the earlier settlers, proud Cherokee people,
and "Eutach - Yi", the matriarch and land owner for whom the homestead is
named. Steeped in history and rich with the culture of times past, one is
treated to a truly unique experience, made even more meaningful when
shared with family & friends. Painstakingly restored stone fireplaces (4 of
them!) lend warmth and charm to the ambiance, along with lavish use of
antiques and period pieces, carefully placed throughout. An authentic
looking (yet new) "woodburning" stove replica in the kitchen is
complimented by all of the most up to date equipment and conveniences,
the likes of which the settlers never dreamed of. But along with everything
else, the electrical and plumbing have all been replaced and nothing is
lacking or compromised. The King Sized Master Suite with its own fireplace
is located on the main level, and the adjacent bath is uniquely outfitted with
a flagstone shower. There are 2 stairways leading up to the second level;
one to the 2nd bedroom, a Queen suite with its own private bath & charming
decor; the other leads up to a very tastefully appointed "Pub Room" where
guests are invited to enjoy a rousing game of billiards or darts or just relax &
watch TV. There's also another bedroom on this level with Queen sized bed
and a 3rd full bath. The enchanting living room on the main level has lavish
oriental rugs and furnishings, including an antique pump-organ. Although
there is no dock, one need only drop anchor on their pontoon boat and
wade or swim ashore, or pull their kayak, small boat or jet skis up onto the
grass. It's perfect for tubing or fishing right in your own back yard! Evenings
are a breezy delight sipping mint juleps while relaxing in the rockers out on
the covered porch overlooking the lake, or enjoying a barbecue in the shelter
of the screened gazebo off the back porch. It may be hard to pronounce, but
once you've experienced it, you'll never forget "Eutach-Yi"! LAKE LEVELS
